The Scots Pines, beside the ruins of Rothes Castle, provide an ideal habitat for the Goldcrest (Britains smallest bird) and also overlook the Glen Spey Distillery. Founded in 1885 the distillery was originally part of the Mills of Rothes and takes its water fromm the Doonie Burn. A smooth, pleasant and lighter style single malt Speyside with tropical and fruity notes of ripe peaches pineapple and hints of lemon.
