Mendel's Semillon is sourced from 60+ year old, ungrafted grapevines located at 1100 metres above sea-level in the Paraje Altamira region of Mendoza. One of Argentina’s oldest grape varietals this rare barrel-fermented white presents marked varietal notes such as white flowers and honey, as well as some herbaceous and tropical fruit notes that give it complexity. Its passage through oak provides it with scents of coconut, soft smoke, and great volume and smoothness in the mouth.
