Sing Gin
Sing Gin is an award-winning gin of rare and tantalising freshness. Inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the Yorkshire Dales, Sing Gin - one of the first British premium grape-based gins - was conceived and created by gin aficionado Ian Thompson. The neutral grape spirit is crafted from two grape varieties native to Spain, Airen and Macabeo. Grape, used in juniper spirits back in the 1400’s, gives Sing Gin a silky, smooth finish that blends beautifully with the seven hand-crushed botanicals including mint, orange peel and flax, an historic Yorkshire crop. Flax was chosen for its floral subtlety and for its historic links with Kettlesing, the village where the Thompson family live and which gave inspiration to the name Sing. On the nose, there are pronounced juniper notes followed by subtle sweet citrus notes with a hint of spice and floral after-tones.
